Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
Tumble dry on low heat. Remove promptly to minimise creasing.
Iron on low if desired: though most creases drop out naturally after making the bed.
Do not use fabric softener. It coats the fibres and actually reduces softness over time.
Cotton sateen can feel softer with washing and use. Follow the care label to help maintain the fabric.

OBSESSED. The pattern so so cute and just elevated my whole bedroom. I have tried so many brands of covers and this is the first where the doona actually stays and keeps it shape. The zipper is soooo much better than buttons. 100% best cover I've had and will buy more.
