About
Beddie loves sleep! We also love great design, so what better way to combine our love of both. Our art for each design is created in our studio in Sydney, our colours are tested time and time again, until we have the most beautiful combinations. We design the cotton weave, the beautifully crafted finishes, and are across every step of the weaving, printing and sewing processes. We refuse plastics and are almost carbon neutral.
We strive to set the highest standard of quality in every piece we sell.
Our luxurious long staple cotton and pure French linen has been farmed sustainably, and our woven fabrics and dyes are all Oeko-Tex Certified, meaning there are no chemical nasties in your bed. Just pure 100% long staple cotton or linen. The thread count is 600, which is the perfect thread count for long staple cotton, as it is woven with longer, silkier premium cotton threads. Higher thread count sheets are normally produced with shorter cotton fibres, making them rougher than long staple cotton weaves. The feel of our sheets is of premium, luxury quality, supremely soft and durable.
Our cotton is farmed ethically in Portugal and then manufactured by our weaving and sewing partners in China and Portugal. We only partner with suppliers that continually show fair and ethical, happy workplaces, and who adhere to proper Workplace Standards.
In listening to what people want in sheets, we have produced 40 and 50cm deep side walls on our fitted sheets, with extra wide, flat elastic to stay in place. We also have deep 22cm pillowcase envelopes, and hidden zippers on our doona covers. We have internal ties in the corners of the doona covers to hold you doona in place at all times. Yay :)
Our zippers used in our quilt covers are YKK zippers - guaranteed to never fail. The thought of a zipper breaking on a doona cover gives us the shivers, so we have sourced the best in the world for you. And we're stoked :)
We use a rubber stamp for our logo on our recyclable kraft mailing boxes, and we don't pack out our parcels with tissue paper, stickers, plastic bubble wrap or styrofoam beads.
For small shipments, we use recycled mailing satchels from Australia Post.
Simple solutions, far less impact.
Besides, it's what's inside the box that counts right?
And we know you'll love your beautiful new bedding.
We are partnered with i=Change, and contribute $1 from every single sale to a charity you choose upon checkout. Paying it forward is love. And that's exactly what the world needs now.
Love. And care, for each other, and our planet.

Plastic? No Thanks
Our packaging is simple. Even though the urge to produce beautifully printed boxes, tissue paper and stickers was strong, we knew it was not the right thing to do for our planet. The less the better.
We refuse plastic anywhere in the production or shipping of our products.
Our products are all packed in their own self fabric drawstring bags - perfect to reuse in so many ways, and they're super pretty too.
We use biodegradable hemp string to attach our recycled card swing tags. #proud
Made with Care
OEKO-TEX® is an environmental certification system relating to the entire textile production process. In order for a product to be awarded the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certificate, it must undergo rigorous testing which ensures its production process is harmless to humans.
A fabric can only be awarded the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certificate if it meets a strict set of environmental criteria which go far beyond the necessary legal requirements.
Peace of mind for all of us 😊
Our quality promise
Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of effort. We spend most of our time and energy making sure we design well and achieve the highest quality. Every single detail from material to technique is thought through with obsessive attention. If you're not happy, we're not happy.
Rest assured with Beddie. #deadsetgorgeous
