A mid, deep buttery yellow that actually works. Mellow Yellow is brighter than our mustards but still sits beautifully in a neutral room. Made from smooth long-staple cotton sateen. Cheerful without trying too hard.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
Tumble dry on low heat. Remove promptly to minimise creasing.
Iron on low if desired: though most creases drop out naturally after making the bed.
Do not use fabric softener. It coats the fibres and actually reduces softness over time.
Cotton sateen can feel softer with washing and use. Follow the care label to help maintain the fabric.

Cotton sateen has a smooth feel; linen has a more relaxed texture. How warm you feel also depends on your quilt, room temperature and personal preference.
