Warm yourself up with this delicious and super easy dessert.
The taste and smell of food can be extremely evocative, taking you back to eating food in a certain place or setting. A trigger of deeper memories of feelings and emotions, like Sunday at Nanna’s, or swimming in the ocean as a kid and then running to the table of goodies mum had prepared for lunch.
Memories that stay with us forever, and bring a smile or a pang to the heart.
Try this classic Apple and Rhubarb Crumble - super easy to make, warming of the heart and sooo good to eat!
INGREDIENTS 
600 g rhubarb cut into pieces
5 granny smith apples
3/4 cup caster sugar
CRUMBLE 
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup coconut 
65 g unsalted butter
METHOD 
Combine rhubarb with caster sugar and cook over low heat approximately 15 minutes
Peel and cut apples, then add to rhubarb and cook for a further 10-15 minutes.
Spoon into ramekins.
To make crumble, mix dry ingredients with butter to form a breadcrumb like mixture.
Place crumble mix over top of each ramekin and bake at 180C for approximately 25 minutes. Serve with ice-cream or cream.
